Cervical and Lumbar Radiculopathy
Radiculopathy is the irritation or injury of a nerve or nerve root from being compressed (i.e. by a disc bulge), and/or from chemical inflammation (e.g. a disc herniation may instigate a release of inflammatory chemicals that can cause irritation to a nerve or nerve root). Symptoms of radiculopathy can include numbness/tingling, weakness, and/or pain in the distribution of the specific nerve that is effected. Dr. Crystal is certified in the Cox-Flexion Distraction technique, which is one of the most studied non-invasive techniques used to help reduce and alleviate radicular pain.
